DTM Nigeria DISPLACEMENT UPDATE IOM DTM Rapid Assessment 4 - 25 September 2019 households Total IDPs: TRIGGER: Conict / Attack 4,982 individuals 1,392 households OVERVIEW Daily Displacement Trends from Bauchi: 11 Borno state has been witnessing large scale population displacement following from DAMBAM: 9 from GUBIO: 17 the recent ongoing conflict mainly in Gubio, Nganzai and Magumeri LGAs of from JERE: 41 Borno state. It leads to displacements within the state and to other states, from KONDUGA: 13 from MAIDUGURI: 50 including refugees who are fleeing into the state as a result of conflict in their from HADIJA: 8 GUBIO: 395 countries. In the month of September 2019, the total number of displaced persons from MAIDUGURI: 240 tracked are 4,982 individuals (1,392 households). The largest movement (986 from DAMATURU: 6 from MAGUMERI: 10 individuals) was recorded on 10 September 2019, which includes 835 MAIDUGURI: 100 from NGANZAI: 109 JERE: 13 departures from Gajiganna Ward of Magumeri LGA - 578 to Bolori I, Bolori II KONDUGA: 6 and Maisandari Ward in Maiduguri Metropolitan Council, and 257 to Jere LGA; from CHAD: 78 NGALA: 78 114 departures from Maiduguri Metropolitan council - 86 to Gubio I Ward and from GUBIO: 237 28 to Gubio II Ward of Gubio LGA; and 27 departures from Bazam in Gubio II Ward of Gubio LGA - 22 to Mallam Suri in Gubio I Ward and 5 to Hausari in from MAIDUGURI: 109 from BAUCHI: 4 Gubio II Ward. from MAIDUGURI: 123 GUBIO: 765 Due to ongoing conflict, 232 displaced individuals from neighbouring Niger from KIYAWA: 14 from JERE: 30 and Chad republic were also tracked.
