Each one of our sororities on campus prides themselves on having long-standing traditions of excellence, high standards, and friendships. By starting your legacy with a sorority here at The University of Iowa, you will find yourself in a collegiate experience that is unlike any other. You will become a leader, serve the community, participate in philanthropic events, and grow personally with a long-lasting sisterhood. I believe that all fourteen Panhellenic sororities at Iowa give their members the greatest opportunities to grow to their very best selves. Being a part of a sorority has made a huge positive impact on my college career, giving me a sense of belonging and a home away from home. For these next two weeks, I highly encourage that you embrace things that every chapter on campus has to offer. Give every chapter an opportunity to open your mind and experience being a part of their sisterhood. Every one of our fourteen chapters is based on values that serve as the foundation of their organization. Make sure you understand these values and pick a chapter that matches your own! I wish you an amazing recruitment filled with new friendships, memories and fun to start off your college experience! Always be yourself and you will find a chapter that truly feels like home!
