You may be surprised by what you find. September 22, 2020 • Amazon/USPS Amazon raises USPS rates on Buy Shipping to coin- cide with USPS temporary commercial price increase. September 14, 2020 • FedEx Effective January 4, 2021, FedEx announces an average rate increase of 4.9% for FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, and either 4.9% or 5.9% for FedEx Freight depending on zone and service level. Select surcharges will increase at a higher rate. September 4, 2020 • Pitney Bowes Pitney Bowes announces peak pricing adjustments for its delivery and returns services for the holiday shipping season, not to exceed $1.50 per parcel. September 3, 2020 • UPS Effective October 18, 2020, rates for all UPS SurePost services will increase by $0.24. August 28, 2020 • LaserShip LaserShip will implement peak season residential sur- charges from Nov 21 to Dec 31. August 24, 2020 • OnTrac For the first time, OnTrac will implement peak season sur- charges effective August 23 to January 16. August 20, 2020 • UPS UPS to increase international parcels from Asia to US effective Aug 30. August 18, 2020 • FedEx Peak surcharges begin October 3 and November 2 depend- ing on surcharge and will end January 17. August 14, 2020 • USPS For the first time, USPS announces peak surcharges from Oct. 18 until Dec. 27, 2020. August 7, 2020 • UPS UPS peak surcharges begin October 4 and November 15 de- pending on surcharge and will end January 16. August 6, 2020 • FedEx FedEx Express increased international rates from various Asian countries to the U.S effective August 10. July 26, 2020 • UPS Effective July 26, 2020 peak surcharges will increase for ship- ments from China Mainland and Hong Kong SAR to the U.S. June 24, 2020 • UPS Effective June 28, 2020, the peak surcharge from China Main- land to the U.S. will decrease. June 4, 2020 • FedEx Effective June 8, 2020 until further notice, FedEx will imple- ment peak surcharges to U.S. domestic Residential, SmartPost and Oversize packages. May 28, 2020 • UPS Effective May 31, 2020, UPS implements peak surcharges to U.S. domestic Residential, SurePost, and Large packages.
