Automobilia Ladenburg 15th/16th May 2020 RUDOLF CARACCIOLA Estate Ladies and Gentlemen, I am delighted to be able to present you with the first catalogue of 2020. In total, around 3,500 lots are on offer, including over 200 lots from the estate of Rudolf Caracciola, including driver contracts, written correspondence, photo albums, and many unique documents from the three-time European champion’s unparalleled racing career. The memorabilia on offer here is on the market for the first time and documents this unique racing career. Just to give you a small taste of what is coming up, we can show you the driver contract between Rudolf Caracciola and Alfa Romeo (Alfa Corse) here. After Daimler Benz AG’s exit from racing, Caracciola decided to start 1932 with an Alfa Romeo P3. In addition to this, there are also unique pieces from the estate of Günther Molter, including the contract between Molter and Daimler Benz AG for the 1952 Carrera Panamerica. His extensive photo archive has been categorised according to the individual car manufacturers. We are also happy to be able to present you with a prospectus and catalogue collection of a total of more than 15,000 pieces. You can find almost all manufacturers here... Of course, you can also find the usual rare posters, replacement parts and automobile rarities, such as the “Circuito de Cremona 1924” winner’s trophy, Antonio Ascari in an Alfa Romeo P2… — but we don’t want to give away too much here! The catalogue is available online now and, as usual, also to available to order as a printed book. .
