My report, therefore, Order as Member: 15 Years concentrates on developments relating to the Order, Council Brian Ch’ng Annetta Albanese and the Ambulance Service. To them - and also to Councillor, Chief Service Bars: In addition to the above Justice Trevor Riley - I extend my thanks for their continued medals and awards, a 5 years support throughout year. number of Volunteer Kate Anning In February this year we were honoured by the presence medals and bars were Dan Falzon of the Governor General. Her visit included the Investiture presented for members Alice Hageman of our new Deputy Prior, Her Honour the Honourable Sally who have completed Debbie McLeod Thomas AM DStJ and Patron Mr Duncan McNeill KStJ. We are lengthy volunteer service. Amanda McNeil delighted to welcome Her Honour as the new Administrator John Payne 32 years voluntary for the Northern Territory and we look forward to their Regina Seller service participation at all of our events. Deidre White Roslyn Jones Once again, thanks to the efforts of staff from St John, the Nicole Bouma 27 years voluntary Office of Her Honour the Administrator and Government Tom Falzon service House. This year saw the Graduation of four Paramedics, who Lorinda Knox Simon Spillett received their Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) Leetasha McIlwain Dawn Bat at the ceremony. Mandy Paradise Christine Turner Neville Saunders Jill Timms Julie Wickham 4 I would like to extend my thanks and congratulations to all of those who have received an award. Your valued contribution does not go un-noticed. Each year St John delivers :- • An emergency and non-emergency ambulance service; • A dedicated team of qualified First Aid Volunteer personnel to attend social, sporting, cultural and other well-attended community events; • A dedicated training arm specialising in public, community and industry-specific First Aid training; • Paramedic education and training; • Youth support and training through a Cadet movement. • Contract Paramedical services to assist and support the mining production and special project industries both on and off-shore; • Corporate support to its operational arms and activities; • An extensive First Aid kit and supplies Sales Department; • A fully equipped workshop delivering custom vehicle, ambulance modifications and general servicing to members of the public. • A continually developing Community Education program, servicing schools (pre-school to university), vacation care, child care centres and other community groups, teaching the basics of First Aid.
