Diving Safari Around Bali 11 days full program Diving Safari around Bali (11 days program) Day 1: Arrival to Bali DIVERS & NON-DIVERS: Welcoming at Bali airport by our team and transfer to OK Divers diving re- sort in Padangbai. Dinner with your guide, who will answer all your questions, give you lots of useful tips and arrange the last safari details if needed. Day 2: Padangbai Diving in Padangbai, 2 (3) dives DIVERS: We prepared two morning dives for you, which will take place at the Padangbai dive sites - Blue Lagoon and White Sand Beach, according to the conditions. These dives will be really nice mix- ture of macro and amazing coral gardens. Afterwards, we’ll have a lunch in the hotel restaurant and relax by the pool or in spa. Third dive in the afternoon is optional. In the evening, after relaxation or your third dive, we’ll have a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant – The Colonial. NON-DIVERS: For non-divers, we’ll head to the central part of Bali for full day full trip. On the way to Bedugul – the mountainous area with a cool air, you will be able to admire the rice terraces of Jatih Luwih, which are registered as one of the UNESCO world heritage. In Bedugul, we will visit the lake temple Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, which is an exceptionally photogenic temple located on the shores of the volcanic lake Beratan. We’ll have lunch with panoramic view of After lunch with a beautiful lake view, we’ll take you to visit the market in Bedugul, full of flowers, fruits, vegetables and scents of the spices, also famous for its crafts. Day 3: Transfer To Tulamben Day trips, 1 night dive. DIVERS & NON-DIVERS: Morning departure to Taman Nusa Park. Taman Nusa is an Indonesian cultural park that aims to offer comprehensive information on the cultures of Indonesia’s various ethnic groups in the most attractive and interactive ways, while enjoying the natural beauty of Bali. Its mission is to provide a conservation, didactic and recreational means for both domestic and for- eign visitors to accurately understand the depiction of Indonesia. We’ll enjoy the lunch in the park with a wonderful rice field view. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive to our beach hotel in Tulamben and start preparing for a night dive on the USAT Liberty wreck, a World War II ship. We’ll have dinner at a local restaurant after the dive. Day 4:Tulamben Diving on the ship wrecks, including the wreck of USAT Liberty, 3 dives. DIVERS: The day begins with an early morning dive at the USAT Liberty wreck, a World War II ship. After the dives, breakfast will be served. Our second morning dive will be in the relatively freshly sunken shipwreck of Kubu and its coral garden, about 10 minutes’ drive from Tulamben. Then we’ll have lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, you can relax or have a massage. A night dive will take place on the Liberty wreck, which has a truly memorable atmosphere in the dark. Dinner at a restaurant in Tulamben. NON-DIVERS: A great day full of trips is prepared for non-divers. The first stop will be in the “ru- mah pohon” (house on the tree) with a beautiful view of the bay and the surrounding countryside. From there we’ll continue through the valley of Sidemen, watching beautiful rice fields on the way towards the most sacred and most important temple in Bali, Besakih temple. Lunch is served in the restaurant with panoramic view of the valley below the temple. After returning to the hotel, you can relax by the pool and dine at a restaurant in Tulamben. Day 5: Tulamben Diving in Tulamben, 3 dives. DIVERS: Two morning dives - one in the Coral Garden and one on the Drop off site. After lunch at the hotel, we’ll move to the Seraya Secret diving site, which is immensely rich in macro life. After diving, you can relax by the pool and dine in the local restaurant. NON-DIVERS: A trip to the volcanic region of Kintamani is prepared for non-divers. The mountain road alongside the Batur Volcano offers views of dense forests, volcanic lakes, Agung and Batur volcanoes, waterfalls and, of course, local culture. Lunch is served in one of the restaurants with a unique view of the lake and the Batur volcano. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. After returning to the hotel, you can relax by the pool and dine in the local restaurant. Day 6: Amed Diving in Amed, 3 dives. DIVERS: After breakfast, we’ll head to Amed and cruise by a small traditional fishing boat jukung to the dive site at Bunutan, where we’ll enjoy a drift dive. Bunutan is a location with good visibili- ty, rich in colorful cliffs and schools of fish. The second dive is planned on one of the first artificial reefs in Bali – so called “Pyramids”. About 60 concrete structures in the shape of a pyramid lie in the depth of 20 meters and are perfectly overgrown by hard and soft corals. Lunch will be on the Amed beach. For the third dive, we’ll board the jukung again, this time heading to the Drop Off dive site. Later we’ll enjoy dinner at the beach with the view of sunset over Agung volcano and head back to Tulamben. NON-DIVERS: For non-divers, we’ve planned a visit to the temple Pura Lempuyang Luhur, which is one of the most sacred temples in Bali. Even though the temple lies in the clouds, we’ll access it by a car and only 10-minute walk. Those bravest and (especially) most persistent of our group can climb 1,700 steps and enjoy the view from the highest point. After lunch in the local restaurant, we’ll drive to Taman Ujung water palace. From the highest point of the palace gardens (it is only a few stairs) there is a beautiful ocean view as well as the view of the palace itself. Later, we’ll head to Amed along the coastal road (get ready for really nice views), where we’ll join the divers group, enjoy the dinner at the beach with the view of sunset over Agung volcano and return to Tulamben together. Day 7: Transfer To padangbai Full day visits and trips DIVERS & NON-DIVERS: Early in the morning, we will head to Tirta Gangga water palace, whose name is derived from the Ganges, a Hindu holy river. There are several stops with rice field views and mini trek planned along the way. After lunch in local warung (local restaurant) in Candidasa, we’ll visit the traditional village of Tenganan, where the members of the Balinese tribe of Aga have lived in a traditional way for centuries. It is an inhabited open-air museum with a unique atmosphere, culture and traditions. Then we’ll return back to the hotel, where we’ll also have dinner. Day 8: Padangbai Diving in Padangbai and Amuk Bai, 3 dives. DIVERS: After breakfast, a boat will take us from the Padangbai beach to the islands of Gili Tepe- kong and Gili Mimpang, which are known for their beautiful fraudulent geological formations, rich coral gardens and the presence of large fish. The dives are followed by lunch in Padangbai. After big fish, we’ll show you the local macro world at Jetty or Blue Lagoon dive sites. We’ll enjoy tasty dinner in the evening. NON-DIVERS: The non-divers day begins with visiting of the court building in Klungkung and its great gardens. The main program of the day will be a visit of the Tirta Sudamala Temple - a place where you can refresh yourself and enjoy the cleansing in the holy springs belonging to the temple. Another stop is in one of the most authentic areas of Bali, Bangli. We’ll stop in the picturesque vil- lage of Penglipuran, where you can take a picture of traditional Balinese houses and experience the peaceful atmosphere of a village. On the way back we’ll visit the bat temple Goa Lawah. We’ll enjoy tasty dinner in the evening. Day 9: Nusa Penida Diving at Nusa Penida Island, Manta Point and Crystal Bay, 2 dives. DIVERS: In the morning we’ll head by a diving boat towards Nusa Penida Island (about 50 minutes). We will have the first dive at Manta Point and, as the title suggests, we should enjoy the company of huge Manta rays, which will show us their dance. The second dive is planned at Crystal Bay - a site with crystal clear water, magnificent coral gardens, and (during the season) spot of the occurrence of Moonfish (Mola-Mola). After lunch in the hotel restaurant, you can relax by the pool or try the traditional Balinese massage at the Green Spa in your hotel (reservation required). Goodbye Safari dinner at the hotel restaurant. NON-DIVERS: Program of the day is the same for non-divers, snorkeling with the manta rays at Nusa Penida. If you are not interested in joining the group, possibility of organizing land tours pro- gram. Day 10: Day of visits and trips DIVERS & NON-DIVERS: Right after breakfast, we’ll head towards Tampaksiring, a place with unique views and springs of holy water that was discovered 1000 years ago. The spring of Tirta Em- pul is worshiped by the Balinese Hindus which come here for their cleansing rituals. We will continue to the Kings Valley and Gunung Kawi Temple, which is located deep in a gorge, where the Pakrisan River flows.
