Looking Back McNairy County Independent 1949 Transcribed by Nancy Wardlow Kennedy Proofed and setup by Nova A. Greer wrote the articles in some of the papers, just do not know if in 1949. Who ever wrote the articles had a great sense of humor and the articles were good, however due to the length only abstracts were taken. The first names of the players were rarely given. Some have asked why I didn’t include their community in the news. Some communities didn’t send their news to the paper; all sent were included.
