The Candidates are accordingly requested to appear for the Document Verification at the Division/ Unit mentioned against the candidates each. The Documents are to be verified the venue, date and time will be communicated by the Divisions/Unit concerned to the candidates each. All communication from the Administration will be sent by SMS or e-mail only and selected/Eligible candidates list will be uploaded in Southern Railway Website. Candidates should maintain the same mobile number & e-mail ID till the selection is completed and the Administration will not be responsible for non-receipt of communication due to change in mobile number or e-mail ID Candidates are also required to bring the following documents:- Candidates are requested to bring all the original documents (along with their attested photocopies) such as Educational qualification certificates (Academic & Technical), age proof, community certificate, PH/PwBD certificate, Original Aadhaar Card and On line Registration ID number (System generated registration number is the candidate’s individual Registration ID) Bio-data form that is given at Annexure-I should be filled up and submit at the time of Certificate verification. Medical Fitness Certificate that is given at Annexure-II should have obtained from the Medical Authority competent and that is to be submitted at the time of Certificate verification and without that could not be considered for the engagement. List of original documents to be submitted on the day of Document Verification 1. Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central/State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of their claim of age. Where date of birth is not available in certificate/mark sheets, issued by concerned Educational Boards, School leaving certificate indicating Date of Birth will be considered. 2. NCVT/SCVT certificate along with mark sheets pertaining to all the academic years as proof of educational qualification claimed. In the absence of certificate, provisional certificate along with mark sheets pertaining to all the academic years will be accepted. 3. Caste certificate in the prescribed proforma in case of candidates seeking reservation as SC/ ST/ OBC from the competent authority indicating clearly the candidate’s Caste, the Act/ Order under which the Caste is recognized as SC/ ST/ OBC and the village/ town the candidate is ordinarily a resident of. 4. A declaration in the “prescribed proforma” by candidate seeking reservation as OBC, that he/she does not belong to the creamy layer on the crucial date, in addition to the community certificate (OBC). 5. Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate/ PwBD in “prescribed proforma” issued by the competent authority according to the Trade of engaging on the basis of prescribed standards of Medical Fitness. 6. Candidate claiming change in name after matriculation must submit the following documents: The candidates should ensure that in case of any discrepancy between name recorded in the Matriculation/other certificates/documents and on line application (such as spelling error or due to addition/deletion of part of any name or when name of the candidate is inclusive of the name of father and/or mother) an affidavit in ORIGINAL is required to be produced at the time of document verification that both the name/names in both the certificates belong to one and same person. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: 1. The decision of the Railway administration in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications and mode of selection shall be final. 2. Imparting Training in Railway will not confer any right to the candidates for their absorption in Railway after successful completion of training. There is NO GUARENTEE OF EMPLOYMENT and their contract of apprenticeship will be terminated on the completion of training. However 20% of the vacancies in case of Direct Recruitment through RRCs will be filled giving preference to Course completed Act Apprentices on Railways. 3. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL DISQUALIFY THE CANDIDATURE AND NO CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN THE MATTER 4. During the verification of the documents/certificates if any information given by candidates or any claim made by candidates in online application is found to be false, candidates’ candidature will be liable to be rejected by the Administration. 5. The candidature of candidates is PROVISIONAL subject to their being found eligible in all respects. 6. No daily allowance / conveyance allowance or travelling allowance will be paid to the candidates called for document verification. 7. The Railway administration does not undertake any responsibility for sending reply to the candidates not selected or not called for. Note: Every candidate is strictly advised to adhere to the COVID guidelines as notified by the Government from time to time while attending the document verification.
