INTRODUCTION The Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program is located in the Department of Applied Psychology (AP), formerly the Department of Counseling and Applied Educational Psychology (CAEP), in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Northeastern University is a private, nonsectarian, urban university, which offers a variety of curricula through seven undergraduate colleges, nine graduate and professional schools, and a number of continuing and specialized education programs and institutes. Northeastern University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., which is one of the six regional accreditation bodies of the new Council of Post-Secondary Accreditation (COPA). II. OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM The Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program is a full-time doctoral program that accepted its first cohort in 2009. Our program was accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) in May 2014 for 7 years, until 2021. In addition, our program has received the Association
