Editable, customizable, and easily manageable Simplistic implementation to save your time No more concern about calling the contact at the ‘wrong time’ * The application serves the USA only as of now. www.algoworks.com [email protected] THE SET UP www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING To begin, login to your Salesforce org and click “App Launcher” - a grid of nine dots at the top left of your home screen. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP The ‘App Launcher’ icon will open the list of apps. Find ‘Phone Location Configuration’ link and click to open the configuration page.. www.algoworks.com [email protected] REGISTRATION www.algoworks.com [email protected] REGISTRATION Clicking on the ‘Phone Location Configuration’ link will take you to the Registration page where you will be required to register with an email ID & password that will enable you to sync your Org with our database. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT Once you register, go to Setup to open Object Manager and search for “Lead” object and click the Lead link. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT On Lead page, click on Page Layouts in the side navigation. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT In the page layout, select your layout where you want to use Phone Location functionality. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT To add a new section to the page, select ‘Section’ & drag it down to the page. Drop it anywhere on the page below where you want to show the app. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT A ‘Section Properties’ box will pop up. Name the section as ‘Phone Location Tracking’, select the ‘1 - Column’ layout, and click ‘OK’. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT In the left menu, select ‘Visualforce Pages’ & select the ‘Phone Location Lead Page’ from the options shown on the right side. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT Drag and drop the ‘Phone Location Lead Page’ to the Phone Location Section just added down below. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT Hover over the section’s Visualforce page and click on the Properties icon www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT When the Properties box appear, change the default height from 200 to 450 or 550 (according to your needs) and click on the ‘OK’ button. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT Save the changes made to the section. www.algoworks.com [email protected] EDITING PAGE LAYOUT All the EDITING PAGE LAYOUT steps to be done again for the Contact Object. ● Go to Object Manager ● Select Contact Object ● Click on the Page Layouts ● Select your layout where you want to use Phone Location functionality ● Add a section in the Page Layout - Name it “Phone Location Tracking” and select 1-Column Layout ● Add “Phone Location Contact Page” Visualforce Page to the section and edit the Properties to change the height from 200 to 450. ● Save the changes www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP After saving the changes, the Phone Location section will appear on the Lead’s page and will automatically populate any phone numbers present on the page. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP A black tick icon depicts that the phone number is not verified yet by you or anyone else in your Organization. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP A green tick icon depicts that the phone number has been verified as correct by you. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP After saving the changes, the Phone Location section will appear on the Lead’s page and will automatically populate any phone numbers present on the page. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP To edit a record, click on the pencil icon in the ‘Action’ tab and make changes to location (State & City). www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP Make changes to the State & City. Next, click on the tick mark to save the changes. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP The status of the record will turn to a green edit pencil depicting that that record has been modified by you. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP If the edit icon is blue, it depicts that the record was edited by someone else in your Organization. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP A yellow tick icon depicts that the phone number in the record is not a USA number. www.algoworks.com [email protected] PHONE LOCATION TRACKING APP An additional feature offered by the app is that it allows you to copy the phone number simply by clicking on the copy icon. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP LIGHTNING COMPONENT www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING Click “App Launcher” - a grid of nine dots at the top left - to open the App Launcher box. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING When the App Launcher box pops up, click on the ‘Sales’ tab. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING In the Sales page, click on Gear icon [ ] and then click on ‘Edit Page’. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING Scroll down the list of Lightning Components and find the Search Phone Location Lightning Component. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING Drag and drop the Component on to the page. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING Save the Component and then click on ‘Activation’. www.algoworks.com [email protected] SETTING UP IN LIGHTNING The ‘Activation: Home Page Default’ will open up.
