5163 Government Gazette OF THE STATE OF NEW SOUTH WALES Number 80 Friday, 5 August 2011 Published under authority by Government Advertising SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT HERITAGE ACT 1977 Direction pursuant to Section 34(1)(a) to List an Item on the State Heritage Register Sydney Cove West Archaeological Precinct SHR No. 1860 IN pursuance of section 34(1)(a) of the Heritage Act 1977, I, the Minister for Planning, having considered a recommendation of the Heritage Council of New South Wales, direct the Council to list the item of environmental heritage specifi ed in Schedule “A” on the State Heritage Register. This listing shall apply to the curtilage or site of the item, defi ned as the archaeological layer only of the land described in Schedule “B” and excluding the foundations of current buildings. The listing is subject to the exemptions from approval under section 57(2) of the Heritage Act 1977, described in Schedule “C” and in addition to the standard exemptions. The Hon. SCHEDULE “B” The archaeological layer only of all those pieces or parcels of land known as: Lots 3, 8 and 9 of Deposited Plan 800881; Part Lot 4 of Deposited Plan 790998; Part Lot 1 of Deposited Plan 876516; Lots 3 and 16 of Deposited Plan 787934; Lots 21 and 22 of Deposited Plan 787906; Lots 101 and 102 of Deposited Plan 1127050; Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Deposited Plan 796811 and Crown Land parcels E7/10 and E16/9 of the Parish of St Philip, County of Cumberland, as shown on the plan catalogued HC 2384 in the offi ce of the Heritage Council of New South Wales. SCHEDULE “C” 1. Existing approved development: Works and activities in accordance with DA 132-05-05 – Security upgrades to the Overseas Passenger Terminal and accessways. Part Lot 1, DP 876516 at Sydney Overseas Passenger Terminal All above ground works and activities that do not involve any excavation and which will be undertaken on the parcel of land known as Part Lot 1, DP 876516, in the Parish of St Philip, County of Cumberland, shown on the plan catalogued HC 2384 in the offi ce of the Heritage Council of New South Wales. 7. Sydney Water Corporation assets within First Fleet Park Works by Sydney Water Corporation on Sydney Water Corporation assets, including sewerage systems, stormwater management systems and water supply systems, within First Fleet Park for operational requirements, maintenance and repair that do not involve any excavation or impacts on the archaeological resource. This listing shall apply to the curtilage or site of the item, being the land described in Schedule “B”. SCHEDULE “C” Replacement of mushroom racks and repositioning of anchors for chains supporting mushroom racks where chains and/ or wall anchors in have failed. New anchors should consist of non ferrous materials to limit the need for regular replacement and drilling of new holes in the tunnel fabric.
