Proposal of obtaining Environmental Clearance for masonry stone with production Capacity 51020 TPA (ROM), at khasra no.182, Near Village: Khatipura , Tehsil: Khetri , District Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan). The total lease area is 1.0 ha which Govt. waste land. Originally the said Mining Lease was sanctioned in favor of Shri Ram chan d Doi S/o Shri Mahadev Gurjar, R/o Near Hans International School, Kotputali, Distrct -Jaipur (Raj.) by Vide order no ME/Sikar/Minor/ML -314/04/2557 dated 10.8.2005. Its agreement was registered on 31.12.07 for a period of 20 years from 31.12 .2007 to 30.12.2027. The Said mining lease was transferred in favor of Sh. Mahendra Singh S/o Sh.Surendra singh R/o Plot no. 294, Rajokari, New Dehli by vide order no ME/Sikar/Minor/ML -314/04/01 dated 4.01.2011. Its agreement was executed on dated 04/01/2011 & registered on dated 07/01/2011. The Said mining lease was again transferred in favor of present project proponent Sh. Tulsi Ram S/o Sh. No. 314/2004, Annual Production – 51020 TPA(ROM) 2.3 Need for the Project and Its Importance to the Country or Region The said project plays a significant role in the construction a chieving a huge infrastructure as being envisaged by Government of India particularly in road basic building materials . The mining activities as proposed are the backbone of all construction and i nfrastructure projects as the raw material for construction is available only from such mining. 2.4 Demands-Supply Gap There is large demand of Masonry Stone (Cheja Patthar) to the nearby markets and stone crusher units. The crushed material of stone crus her units is us ed in infrastructure projects . This mineral is also used as masonry stone in infrastructure. Presently, maximum infrastructure projects are in operation hence this project will be viable. 2.5 Imports vs. Indigenous Production Indigenous Production : The demand for Masonry Stone (Cheja Patthar) is ever growing . The mineral is used in infrastr ucture sector as masonry stone. Therefore the re is always a good demand of the mineral in the domestic market. Export Market : The re is no poss ibility of export of masonry stone from this lease area. 2.6 Export Possibility There is no proposal to export the Masonry Stone (Cheja Patthar). 2.7 Domestic/ Export Markets A) Domestic Market The Stone along excavated will be directly sold to nearby villages in Tehsil - Khetri and may furthe r transported to Stone Crus her Zone. B) Export Market There is no pos sibility of export of masonry stone from this lease area. 2.8 Employment Generation (Direct and indirect) due to the project Project will create direct & indirect employment within the surrounding region. Unit will use good faith efforts to employ local people from nearby villages depending upon the availability of skilled and unskilled man -power surrounding the project site. As per the notification from Ministry of Environment & Forest, New Delhi dated 14.09.2006 and MoEF O.M. dated 24.12.2013, The Interstate Boundary of Haryana-Rajasthan Falls at a distance of 3.5 km from the Lease area & total Area of other operating mines within 500m periphery of the lease area is more than 5.0 hectare, Hence General Condition is applicable.
