The Termsof Reference of the Task Force are to— 1. The Task Force shall comprise of the following— (a) analyze the implication of the new Constitution on education, training and research for national development; Douglas Odhiambo (Prof.)—(Chairperson) Peter N. Keiyoro (Dr.)—(Vice-Chairman) (6) review the education system in Kenya in relation to— Members: (i) relevance and responsiveness of the curriculum to vision 2030; Samuel Sawa Maneno Joel Kumoiole Leshao (ii) access, equity, quality and transitional issues; Wangari Mwai Bernard Murumbi Sihanya (iti) structure of education system from kindergarten to Philip Ochieng university, including tertiary educational institutions, Cleopas Tirop institutions of research, special needs education, adult Terry Childs education, village polytechnics, homecraft centers and Abdalah Mohamed childcare facilities; Maurice Crawley (iv) investmentin education, both public and private; Joseph Karuga Jane Nyaboke Akama (v) institutional management or governance; Njoki Ndung’u Maureen Onyango (vi) human capacity in education atall levels; Samuel Njoroge (vii) the place of information communication technology and Jennifer Kimani other technologies; Grace Cheserek (Dr.) (viii) niche markets with reference to national, regional and Ex Officio Members: international dynamics; and James Legilisho ole Kiyapi (Prof.) (ix) moulding and mentorship values. Godia (Prof.) Harry Kaane (Prof.) (c) undertakea situational analysis of the education sector by — Paul Wasanga Gabriel Lengoiboni (i) reviewing all relevant documents including reports of Lydia Nzomo commissions, policy papers, and legal documents; and Nathan Baraza (ii) reviewing best practices from countries which have John Kabui Mwai national and county governments.
