He was a retired machinist of the Bendix Corp. at NASA Space Center, Florida, and a former employee of Lehigh Portland Cement Co., Flagler Beach plant, Florida; a member of the First Methodist Church, Bunnell, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brady D. and Emma Ger­ rard Carle; a sister, Edna Ramsay. Surviving are his wife, Lois Shep- n herd Carle; two sons, Arthur L. of Sl Clairsville and Glen A. of Satsuma, Fla.; a daughter, Susan Sheffield Renaud of McIntosh, Ha.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchi- dren; two nieces; a nephew.
