Accommodations Casa Bayanihan is located in Marikina City on the border of Quezon City (within Metro Manila) near the campus of the Jesuit University, Ateneo de Manila, where Casa Bayanihan students attend classes. We live in a neighborhood called BaranGka located on the map just east of the Ateneo de Manila. Metro Manila is a diverse, boominG and widespread metropolis, with many accommodations and sites to offer; however, parents and visitors have found that when choosinG accommodations it is much more convenient and relaxed to stay closer to the Casa Bayanihan student houses. With this in mind, we have created a list of a few accommodations that are family-approved and recommended, affordable, and within walkinG or short taxi ride distance of the Casa Bayanihan houses. The Oracle The Oracle is a lovely hotel located on Katipunan Ave (in Quezon City) directly across from the Ateneo’s Campus and within walking distance of the student houses and many restaurants and coffee shops. It has a ranGe of rooms available to visitors and family, includinG Standard Rooms, SinGle Rooms, and 1 & 2 Bedroom Suites. The rooms are all equipped with air-conditioning & wi-fi. The rates of the standard rooms run from $60-$75 per niGht, and the 1 & 2 Bedroom Suites ranGe from $110-$150 per niGht. Being on campus not only makes it very close to the student houses (approximately a 5 minute walk), but it also provides the beautiful and peaceful setting of the Ateneo de Manila. The maximum lenGth of stay at the Pollock Center is 7 nights as it is mainly used for retreats, but there are two different styles of accommodation available, each ranGinG in amenities and pricinG. There are private, non-air- conditioned rooms for 1-3 persons with a shared toilet and bathroom that ranGe from 450php-990php/$12-$25 USD per night OR a private room with air-conditioning, a private toilet & bathroom, a television and a refrigerator for 600php-960php/$15-$25 per day.
