Trails & Bike Lanes

TRAILS & BIKE LANES April 2020 In 2017, Governor Gary Herbert announced a goal to develop an additional 1,000 miles of family-friendly trails and bike paths over the next 10 years to provide and promote active connections to school, work and outdoor recreation in urban and rural communities throughout the state. This ties in perfectly with UDOT’s master plan for the Mountain View Corridor (MVC), which has planned for bicycle and pedestrian trails the entire length of the roadway. MVC currently includes a 23-mile multi-use trail which runs adjacent to the entire corridor. Additionally, there are nine miles of striped bike lanes that run in each direction from Porter Rockwell Blvd. to Old Bingham Highway.
