RAJA S.A. Constanta in the period 2014-2020” is represented by 5 counties in the operation area of S.C. RAJA S.A.: Constanta, Ialomita, Calarasi, Dambovita and Brasov. The project area includes the following TAUs: Constanta County: Constanta, Cernavoda, Baneasa, Eforie, Harsova, Mangalia, Medgidia, Murfatlar, Navodari, Negru Voda, Ovidiu, Techirghiol, 23 August, Adamclisi, Agigea, Albesti, Amzacea, Baraganu, Castelu, Chirnogeni, Ciobanu, Cobadin, Comana, Corbu, Costinesti, Cumpana, Deleni, Dumbraveni, Ion Corvin, Independenta, Limanu, Lipnita, Lumina, Mereni, Mihail Kogalniceanu, Mircea Voda, Ostrov, Pecineaga, Poarta Alba, Topraisar, Tuzla, Valu lui Traian, Saligny, Tortomanu; Ialomita County: Fetesti, Tandarei, Cazanesti, Fierbinti, Dridu; Calarasi County: Jegalia; Dambovita County: Crevedia; Brasov County: Predeal. The project goal is to extend and modernize the water supply and wastewater system from the project area identified above, primarily consisting in the following measures: The rehabilitation and extension of drinking water adduction pipes, including drinking water tanks and pumping stations; Rehabilitation and extension of drinking water distribution networks; Rehabilitation and extension of wastewater collection systems; Rehabilitation/Construction of wastewater treatment plants; Drinking water treatment plants. The Large Infrastructure Operational Programme will continue the regionalization policy in the sector also by developing new projects in order to comply with the directives on urban wastewater collection and treatment, in agglomerations of over 2,000 p.e.; those over 10,000 p.e. represent a priority. The project comprises approx. 74 localities with around 360 sites, mainly in the rural area; The Feasibility Study, which also includes the Radio Study for all sites comprised in the project, is ongoing; The estimated investment value is of approx. 14 mill. Euros. The Goals of this Project are: Automation of the water supply systems, mainly in rural areas and remotely sending data to Local Dispatching Units; Reducing electricity consumption, namely electricity expenses, by around 20%; Improving the quality of the water supply service by providing continuous water supply; Protecting the water sources in the rural area; Reducing water loss and the number of failures, by monitoring network pressures; Increasing the efficiency in remedying failures; Cutting back personnel expenses; Equipping Local Control Rooms and maintaining communications with the Central Control Room; Maintaining communications between the existing Local Control Rooms, implemented through other projects, and the Central Control Room; Reducing operational costs for the water supply and sewerage systems in the rural area. SCADA Extension - Dispatch System Sources and Wastewater Treatment Plants The photovoltaic plant will be built on approx. 6 ha; Installed power of approx. 4.5 MW The plant will consist of 15,030 panels, with the size of 300 W Electricity production will be of approx .5,760 MWh/year The Project’s investment value is approx. 5,400,000 EUR (4.5 MW*1.2 mill. EUR) The revenues will be 722,300 EUR/year, of which: 495,500 EUR from green certificates (3 GC/MWh) and 226,800 EUR from the produced energy (energy price is 40 EUR/MWh, applied to the produced energy of 5,760 MWh). Installed power of 1.99 MW; Total photovoltaic panels area - Constanta North Wastewater Treatment Plant and Poiana Sludge Treatment Plant – 28,000 sq.m. Energy produced/yr. – 3,760 Mwh The electricity produced shall be used for the consumption of the wastewater treatment plant, covering approximately 80% of the plant’s annual consumption.
