Under the item exploration for basemetal in West of Nanagwas area, Sikar district, Rajasthan, the fourth borehole of this FSP, WNBH-8 commenced on 09.09.2013 and closed on 11.10.2013 (last quarter-July to September) at 154m depth. The borehole intersected biotite rich dolomitic marble containing amphiboles and scapolite, amphibole bearing calc biotite schist containing occasional grains of garnet, dolomitic marble intercalated with thin partings of quartz biotite schist. Specks, disseminations and vein filled chalcopyrite, bornite and covellite have been intersected in the borehole from 65.05m to 74.35m depth along the borehole. The borehole has also intersected coarse to medium grained bornite, chalcopyrite and covellite. Part Analytical results of WNBH-8 shows the following Cu lodes at 0.2% Cu cut off Depth (m) Width along Cu lode the borehole (%) From To (m) 70.15 73.25 3.10 0.41 108.15 120.55 12.5 0.43 Fifth borehole of this FSP, WNBH-9 commenced on 01.11.2013 and closed on 12.12.2013 at 170m depth. The borehole intersected dolomitic marble with partings of quartz biotite schist, biotite bearing dolomitic marble containing amphiboles and scapolite, calc biotite schist, amphibole and scapolite bearing dolomitic marble. The borehole intersected specks and disseminations of chalcopyrite and pyrite between 57.90m & 68.85m. The borehole intersected fine disseminations and vein filled, fine to medium grained bornite, chalcopyrite and ocassionally covellite between 73.75 & 98.75m depth along the borehole and fine disseminations of chalcopyrite and pyrite between 101m & 170m depth along the borehole. The chemical analytical results of core samples are awaited. iii 6. Under the item exploration for basemetal in Palaswala-ki-Dani Block, Sikar district, Rajasthan, two boreholes (PDBH-1 & 2) have been completed with a total of 298.70 m of drilling. Since both the boreholes (PDBH-1 & PDBH-2) have intersected oxidation zone, the third deeper level borehole PDBH-3 is planned at 200 m towards further north of borehole PDBH-2 to intersect the projected zone of mineralisation (both MZ-II and MZ-III) at a vertical depth of 120m, since in the earlier drilled boreholes the oxidized zone is followed by a mineralised zone at depth containing fine disseminations and few specks of bornite, chalcopyrite, specularite with occasional covellite mainly restricted to the secondary veins and fracture planes. 7. Under the item investigation for copper and tungsten in Kamalpura Block of the Pur-Banera Belt, Bhilwara District, Rajasthan, the first borehole KMB-1 commenced on 23.09.13 and completed 200.50m drilling on 23.11.13. The borehole intersected quartzite, quart mica schist, impure marble, garnetiferous amphibole mica schist, thin amphibolite band and calc-silicate rocks. Two mineralized zones with cumulative thickness of 20m containing 0.20% to 0.30% Cu (visual estimate) have been intersected in the borehole. 8. Under the item search for low silica SMS gradelimestone in Miniyun-ki-Dhani, East Block A, Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan, all the assigned mapping and drilling targets have been achieved in the area ahead of stipulated time schedule and the drilling results indicate that the target horizons of so called Khuiala limestone, which is largely regarded as the SMS grade limestone, has been intersected as thin bands with thickness varying from 0.5m to 3.5m. The SMS grade evaluation will depend upon the decrepitating test. 9. Under the item search for low silica SMS grade limestone in North of Jiraj-ka-Toba, Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan, the mapping and major part of core sampling have been completed and in the boreholes significant thickness of the limestone has been intersected. 8, out of 10 boreholes drilled, have intersected limestone ranging in thickness from 20 to 30m containing thin bands of the hard and compact limestone. The calculation of the resources of SMS grade limestone can only be attempted after the decrepitating test is done. The test will be conducted after receiving the chemical analytical data. 10. Interaction is going on with the Project Authorities regarding the sponsored projects of Engineering Geology and the programmes are being executed after signing of MOU and receipt of full advance amount. Fresh request has been received from Dewas Project; Stage 3 and Stage 4 for taking up geotechnical investigation on detailed project report stage which iv will be taken up after approval from CHQ. 11. Uploading of post-2004 unpublished reports - 445 reports (upto FS 2008-09) and all 60 reports of FS 2009-10 & 2010-12 have been uploaded. Keying of pre-2004 reports has been completed and a total of 2388 reports have been keyed in.
