Wicker Civic Center (1801 Nash St, Sanford, NC 27330). We look forward to crowning a miss and teen winner and working with both throughout the year. The prize package for each of our 2 winners includes: an official Miss USA preliminary crown and banner, entry fees to the Miss North Carolina USA pageant ($495), AS WELL AS one of the two state-required program book ad pages for the 2019 Miss North Carolina USA and Miss North Carolina Teen USA Pageants ($500). These pageants are held in the fall of 2019 in High Point, NC. In addition, each winner will also receive pageant coaching and Miss USA interview preparation training ($650). (Each prize package has an actual cash value of over $1800, but may not be substituted for a cash prize). Each of our winners will be responsible for the one additional $500 ad page required by the Miss North Carolina USA state pageant. You may wish to solicit sponsorship to cover the required ad page, which could result in no out of pocket costs for you to enter the state pageant. We will instruct winners on how to solicit for sponsorship and additional funding. Tickets will be on sale at registration the day of the pageant and one hour before the show. All tickets are general admission and are $15.00 (includes one program book). The theme of this year’s pageant is “Gold.” Competition phases include interview, swimsuit for Miss and fitness wear for Teens, and evening gown, with all phases counting equally in the total score. Regarding wardrobe: Interview: dress, skirt and top, pants and top – something that shows your sense of style and is age appropriate. Opening Number: attire should be a black cocktail dress. Swimsuit can be a one or two piece of your choice; no string bikinis or thongs. For teens, Fitness Wear bottoms can be long or short.
