His television career includes work with CJOH in Ottawa and CBC News in Toronto and Edmonton, Alta. As an independent correspondent, cameraman and writer for NBC news, he's covered Afghanistan, Pakistan, China and the Soviet Union. In 1989, he became a full- time correspondent with the network. His recent documentary on Bosnia received awards at the Houston Film Festival and will be screened at Toronto's Festival of Festivals. He also received two national news Emmys for his coverage of the Romanian revolution and China while with NBC.
