Tunbridge Monthly Meeting First Book of Records June 30th, 1802 to October 7, 1825 Transcribed by Robert M. Murphy Vermont Historical Society April 2018 1 The following pages are a transcription of (principally) lists of members of the Tunbridge Monthly Meeting of Freewill Baptists. The records are from the collections of the Vermont Historical Society Library, 60 Washington St., Barre, Vt., and have the catalog number AC 802380. The book consists primarily of minutes of meetings from the period 30 June 1802 through 7 October 1825. Although there are baptismal records sprinkled throughout these minutes, the writing is faded and difficult to interpret, so no attempt was made to search for and record them. The member lists appear from time to time in the record book, and annotations sometimes appear to indicate a death or other event. The member lists are transcribed as accurately as possible, as written. Uncertain interpretations of the written records are included in square brackets. An all-name index appears at the end of this transcription. p. 3 Spirit of God in his word expecting that he will yet further & more gloriously open his word and misterious of his kingdom [f]lying to the blood of the everlasting covenant for the pardon of our many errors and praying that the Lord would prepare and strengthen us for every good work to do his will working in us that which is well pleasing in his sight through Jesus Christ to whome be glory forever.
