DIRECTIONS TO KONKA FROM PRETORIA Option 1 – from the N1 Pretoria Pietersburg freeway Travel west towards Centurion – don’t turn left onto N1 towards Johannesburg but carry straight onto the N14 (previously R28) towards Krugersdorp – at the 4 way robot crossing with Hendrik Potgieter road turn right onto the N14 past the SASOL garage (Pinehaven garage) on the left – straight until you get to a T-junction – right at T-junction – pass Zenex garage on left – just after the garage the road splits into 2 – take the left split towards Ventersdorp (N14) – straight until you get to a 4-way stop at Tarlton – turn right here onto the R24 to Magaliesburg – carry straight on until you get to the town of Magaliesburg – straight through Magaliesburg – on leaving the town there is a railway crossing and the road splits into 2 – take the right split (R24) towards Rustenburg (NOT the left split towards Derby) – follow the road for ± 28 km – on right will be the Aasvoёlkrans resort signage and gate – don’t turn here but go past it for another 900m and you’ll see a turnoff on the left that says Naauwpoort – there is also Konka signage here – turn left here onto gravel road – after ± 1.2km you’ll get the Konka gate on your right DIRECTIONS TO KONKA FROM JOHANNESBURG Option 2 – N4 toll road to Rustenburg Option 1 – N1 coming from Sandton Follow the road until you’re almost in Rustenburg – turn left onto the R24 towards Magaliesburg Get on the N1 concrete ring-road towards Roodepoort – take the 14th avenue off-ramp – at the and Krugersdorp – go past the Olifantsnek dam on your left through the Olifantsnek pass – past bottom of off-ramp turn right underneath the freeway – at 2nd robot right onto Hendrik Potgieter dam keep left at split onto road that now becomes the R24 (DON’T turn right onto the R30 towards road – carry straight on for ± 15 km to the 4 way robot crossing with the N14 (old R28) – straight Derby) – follow the R24 for ± 18 km – Naauwpoort sign and turn-off on right – also KONKA over robot past the SASOL garage (Pinehaven Garage) on your left – straight until you get to a signage – turn right here onto gravel road – after ± 1.2 km the KONKA gate will be on your right T-junction – right at T-junction – pass Zenex garage on left – just after the garage the road splits into 2 – take the left split towards Ventersdorp (N14) – straight until you get to a 4-way stop at Tarlton – turn right here onto the R24 to Magaliesburg – carry straight on until you get to the town Option 3 – from the Hartbeespoortdam area (i)Coming from the south side of the dam (past Pecanwood golf estate) travel west on the R560 – of Magaliesburg – straight through Magaliesburg – on leaving the town there is a railway crossing follow road (don’t turn right over dam towards Kosmos and Brits) past Skeerpoort and Nooitge- and the road splits into 2 – take the right split (R24) towards Rustenburg (NOT the left split towards dacht until T-junction with R24 – turn right onto R24 towards Rustenburg – follow road until you Derby) – follow the road for ± 28 km – on right will be the Aasvoёlkrans resort signage and gate – see the Aasvoёlkrans resort sign on your right - don’t turn here but go past it for another 900m and don’t turn here but go past it for another 900m and you’ll see a turnoff on the left that says Naauw- you’ll see a turnoff on the left that says Naauwpoort – there is also Konka signage here – turn left poort – there is also Konka signage here – turn left here onto gravel road – after ± 1.2km you’ll get here onto gravel road – after ± 1.2km you’ll get the Konka gate on your right. the Konka gate on your right (ii)Coming from the north side of the dam (past Schoemansville through the tunnel) – at 4-way stop Option 2 – N1 coming from the south of Johannesburg at the Engen garage and Wimpy turn left towards Kosmos and Magaliespark golf estate – go past Get on the N1 concrete ring-road towards Roodepoort – take the 14th avenue off-ramp – at the the Kosmos turn-off and follow the road past Magaliespark – this eventually becomes the R560 – bottom of off-ramp turn left – at 2nd robot right onto Hendrik Potgieter road – follow the directions follow this road past Skeerpoort and Nooitgedacht until T-junction with R24 – turn right onto R24 from here as per option 1 above. towards Rustenburg – follow road until you see the Aasvoёlkrans resort sign on your right - don’t turn here but go past it for another 900m and you’ll see a turnoff on the left that says Naauwpoort – Option 3 – Malibongwe drive towards Lanseria there is also Konka signage here – turn left here onto gravel road – after ± 1.2km you’ll get the Go past Kya Sands – past the Lion Park crossing – left onto N14 double carriageway towards Konka gate on your right Krugersdorp – at 4 way robot (crossing with Hendrik Potgieter road) turn right onto N14 past SASOL garage (Pinehaven Garage) – from here follow the directions as per option 1 above.
