REGATTA VENUE LINZ-OTTENSHEIM The regatta venue is located in Ottensheim, an idyllic small town at a distance of 10 kilometres from Linz. The course is situated in a side branch of the river Danube, making it one of only a handful of natural, non-artificial regatta venues. After the attribution of the 2019 World Rowing Championships to Linz-Ottensheim, Austria, an extensive investment programme was started to modernise and expand the regatta venue.
