She is now attending Ohio University, and she thanks Kinnard for everything that he taught her. “Working with Beau was the best thing I’ve ever done because my freshman year was like a review to me.” Homandy said, “He always pushed me to learn more and now its proving to be extremely beneficial in the long run.” Homandy also said that she would encourage anybody at BHS with the slightest interest in the field of Athletic Training to go work with Beau, and they would fall in love with it. A current apprentice of the program with Kinnard is Shannonrachel Taylor. “Beau is a great teacher and a great guy,” Taylor said, “It was truly worthwhile getting to know him.” Taylor has been a part of the BHS Sports Medicine program for three years and has enjoyed every minute of it.
