Riders coming from Flin Flon, Thompson, and southern western points of Manitoba gathered on Saturday afternoon, January 16 at the Brandon Airport. The Brandon Lions Clubs provided a meal and refreshments for the riders. An estimated $40,000 in pledges was collected, with more still coming in. Lion Brad Henderson of the Sinclair Lions Club (left) gets a warm welcome on Saturday, January 16 at the Brandon Airport, as he will take over as chairperson of the Journey from Sight from Lion Ian Mullin of the Bowsman Lions Club.
