Overseer & Machinery Operator Located at “Bulloo Downs Station”, Thargomindah. Reporting to the Station Manager, this will be a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to utilise multiple skills and experience. Your key duties will include but not be limited to the following: • Mustering cattle using motorbikes; • Overseeing stationhands; • Attending to cattle husbandry and processing; • Carrying out general station maintenance and repairs – including fencing and welding; • Undertaking general vehicle & machinery operation and basic maintenance; • Maintenance of station roads, fence lines, airstrips and fire breaks; • Undertaking earthworks as required, including cleaning out of dams and turkey nests; • Operation and general maintenance of Grader To be successful in this role, you will have: • Relevant earth works experience operating a Grader; • Cattle station experience; • Competent operation of various station machinery/equipment and carry out basic maintenance; • A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely; • Ability to observe general property needs ie. Fencing, livestock health, waters; • Great communication skills; • A current HR licence; • A current Class C Drivers Licence We can offer you: • Air-conditioned accommodation; • All meals; • Attractive remuneration dependent on experience.
