A proper insurance coverage (health, accident & liability insurance) for each member of a national federation will be taken for granted. A.7 IMPORT AND EXPORT OF RIFLES AND AMMUNITION All athletes and officials of a member federation of the EU who carry a rifle will also have to carry a European Firearms Pass. 3 Non‐EU‐citizens will have to complete a customs application upon arrival and will have to deposit a cash bail of 20% of the rifle’s custom value. The cash bail will be refunded on the re‐export of the rifle. Rifles and ammunition may be kept at the hotel. A.8 REGULATIONS ON RADIO EQUIPMENT Import, export and operation of radio equipment are NOT FREE of charge. Kindly convey radio frequencies in good time (see Annex 4). A.9 REGULATIONS ON MEDICINES When entering Austria, the teams will have to convincingly prove any need for medicine to be imported if requested. A.10 WAX TRUCK All national federations arriving to the event with their own wax truck are required to forward all specifications to the Organizing Committee NOT LATER THAN THE 09th of NOVEMBER 2020 (see Annex 1). PLEASE NOTE THAT TUESDAY, 08th OF DECEMBER 2020, IS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY IN AUSTRIA! B.2 ACCOMMODATION In this year any reservation and allocation of accommodation for the participating federations and all other participants will be arranged and coordinated by the Organizing Committee ONLY. All reservations become binding by sending the Entry by Name. In case of no‐show or reservations not cancelled BEFORE MONDAY, 23rd of NOVEMBER 2020 the respective federation will be liable for the hotel’s potential cancellation fee. If the event is cancelled due to COVID‐19 pandemic there will be no costs occurring for the teams that have booked accommodation. B.3 ACCOMMODATION EXPENSES CATEGORY A: max. € 110,00 incl. visitor’s tax, full board incl. 1 non‐alcoholic beverage per meal per person and day Single room supplement: max. € 20,00 per person and day CATEGORY B (only a small number available): max. € 95,00 incl. visitor’s tax, full board incl. 1 non‐alcoholic beverage per meal per person and day Single room supplement: max. € 20,00 per person and day All accommodation fees must be paid directly to the hotel! B.4 COST REFUNDED Accommodation expenses for the best 25 biathletes, men and women, will be refunded by the Organizing Committee according to the IBU Event and Competition Rules (Category „B“ according to the IBU regulations). B.5 TRANSPORT If necessary, the Organizing Committee will arrange transportation between the lodgings and the competition venue. Transports from the airports Salzburg, Innsbruck or Munich will be arranged and the expenses for one transport per team will be covered by the Organizing Committee. Please inform the Organizing Committee Hochfilzen about all transports (pick up from airport, all transfers during the competition week – from the lodgings to the stadium and back, return to the airport) NOT LATER THAN THE 09th of NOVEMBER 2020 (see Annex 3). Phone: +43 5359 20194 105 (from 06.12.2020 on) B.8 INFORMATION PRIZE MONEY Regarding prize money, the athlete is responsible to: a) provide the OC office with all information necessary (complete banking info, photo ID) – ANNEX 4 b) The prize money will only be transferred after providing all the information required! c) Because of COVID‐19 a signature on the receipt of the prize money form is not necessary. d) The prize money forms should be picked up and / or returned by the team official.
