Originally a farm hand in the Houston Astros system, McCanna was signed by the Arizona 6/21 CLINTON 6:30 PM Pacific Coast League Diamondbacks following his release from the Astros. A former Dodgers prospect, Sandoval was traded to the Seattle Mariners in late Arkansas Travelers (Double-A) March of this season. His two clouts in the opener on Saturday night gave him his seventh career multi-home run game. Sandoval now has 34 professional career home runs.
