Records reveal that the Notice of Inquiry sent to the petitioner by the Commission was served to Tmt. R.Annapoorani on 08.06.2018 by Postal Department. As per Rule 7 of the Tamil Nadu Information Commission (Appeal Procedure) Rules 2012, the appellant / 1 complainant shall be present in person at the time of hearing of the appeal or complaint by the Commission. The Public Authority represented by Thiru A.Mohammed Rafi, Headquarters Deputy Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Mylapore Taluk, Chennai is present. 2. The second appeal dated 12.02.2016 filed under Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, pertaining to the petition dated 12.10.2015 filed under Section 6(1) and first appeal dated 24.11.2015 filed under Section 19(1) was taken up for enquiry today (14.06.2018). 3. Perusal of records reveal that in the petition filed under Section 6(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, dated 12.10.2015, the appellant has sought for information about the survey No. and extent of the residential property old door No.158, New door No.108. Kutchery Road, Mylapore, Chennai that falls within the jurisdiction of SRO- Mylapore, Village – Mylapore, Revenue District Chennai, Taluk Mylapore Triplicane. The petition was addressed to the Public Information Officer, Taluk Office, Mylapore Taluk, Chennai. 4. Records reveal that by letter dated 19.10.2015, the Public Information Officer furnished reply to the appellant. Not satisfied with the reply of the Public Information Officer, the appellant preferred the first appeal under Section 19(1) of Right to Information Act, 2005, dated 24.11.2015 to the Appellate Authority and second appeal under Section 19(3) of Right to Information Act, 2005, dated 12.02.2016. 5. During enquiry, the Public Information Officer informed the Commission that by letter dated 09.06.2018, information was furnished to the appellant and produced necessary documents before the Commission. Perusal of records reveal that the letter dated 09.06.2018 was sent to the petitioner by RPAD on 09.06.2018. The Commission record the same and conclude that no further enquiry is required in this case and the appeal is treated as closed.
