CORNERSTONE $1+ MILLION Major supporters included ONE Gas, Inc. and ONEOK, Inc., each receiving Cornerstone Awards for support in excess of $1 million. Pillar $500,000+ George Kaiser Family Foundation supported the United Way through contributions totaling more than $500,000. SUPERHEROES OF 2020 4 Williams Summit Leadership Williams For the 31st consecutive year, Williams successfully raised more than one million dollars and surpassed their 2019 total by 16%. Their Volunteer Campaign Committee focused their energies on employee education, and with the help of their Leadership Team, surpassed 2019 employee pledges with a staggering increase in participation. This is their largest campaign in five years, especially impressive during a pandemic. Williams is a leader in the community and we appreciate all the ways they support Tulsa Area United Way and make the community a better place to work and live. Leadership Giving Tulsa New Holland Tulsa New Holland has shown a steady 10% increase every year for at least seven years, due in large part to their incredible commitment to Tulsa Area United Way. Volunteer Coordinators incentivized Leadership Giving with personal home-baked goods, and Executive Leadership increased their support to meet the company’s goal for the Tulsa New Holland 2020 Campaign. Mid-size Business Omni Air International Omni Air International has been a long-time leader in our Aerospace Division. Their 2020 Campaign followed all the Steps to a Successful Campaign with fun traditions and engagement opportunities that resulted in an incredible participation rate of 90%. A dollar-for-dollar company match, Campaign Cabinet and Coordinator Volunteerism, strong affinity group participation, Day of Caring and even a special company-wide Food Drive ensured employees had a variety of options to give back to their community through an investment of their time and money. Small Business Neosource An exemplary company culture of service and strong support of Tulsa Area United Way defines Neosource’s commitment to helping people improve their lives. The 2020 Neosource Campaign featured amazing participation, with a 14% overall increase and a 44% increase in Leadership Giving. Their commitment to volunteerism through Day of Caring project engagement year in and year out is a testament to their dedication to our Greater Tulsa community. SUPERHEROES OF 2020 5 Green Country Business Consolidated Turbine Specialists The pandemic-challenged economy and recent sale of the company to a national defense contractor didn’t sway the leadership and company’s commitment to its community and Tulsa Area United Way. With support and encouragement from its long-time president and internal committee, Consolidated Turbine increased their total giving and continues to be actively involved in Bristow. Illuminate Family & Children’s Services Family & Children’s Services exemplified a 2020 Campaign United in Hope in a year where service delivery and business operations were anything but clear. In the final days of the campaign, the F&CS team rallied to match their 5% employee giving increase and illuminate another successful Campaign. Bristow Social Services Bristow Social Services is a leader of hope in the Bristow community and a beloved agency. Despite a dramatic increase in community needs driven by the pandemic, the agency held a solid campaign led by its dynamic executive director. Employees increased giving by 15% and demonstrated 100% participation by its Board of Directors. Ignite Asemio Asemio truly “ignited” the 2020 United Way Campaign. Not only did they run their first ever campaign in June 2020, they also kicked off the first ever virtual campaign in Tulsa Area United Way history. In the process, Asemio showed great commitment to the United Way with 75% of givers giving at the Leadership Level and in addition, provided a corporate gift. Thank You, Asemio, for “igniting” the 2020 United Way campaign. Momentum Laredo Petroleum Laredo continued to raise the bar this year with a 64% increase from their 2019 Campaign total! Led by the inspiration of Executive Leadership and Volunteer Coordinators, employees found multiple opportunities of community campaign engagement and provided a dollar-for-dollar company match. Lardeo Petroleum is a paragon of a great new culture of leadership in Tulsa and a valued community partner. SUPERHEROES OF 2020 6 Innovator Tulsa Community College Tulsa Community College ran the model 2020 Campaign and set the standard for what a virtual campaign could look like moving forward. Participation on our Campaign Cabinet and a well-established Volunteer Campaign Committee organized engaging and HOPEFUL opportunities such as master classes, video game tournaments, 5K fun runs, online auctions, and their very own Pack the Pantry Food Drive for Day of Caring. In a year of extreme uncertainties in serving their TCC Community, their campaign boasted tremendous success and character, one starfish at a time! Price Family Properties Price Family Properties approached Tulsa Area United Way with a pivotal and transformative idea this year to donate $100 per person for up to 1,000 people who would visit downtown Tulsa and pass through the balloon arch at 6th and Main. The idea behind the event was to support their 2020 Campaign efforts and give people a way to safely social distance and support downtown businesses during a pandemic.
