Government Defeat in Lords on Social Security (Personal Independence Payment) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 Monday 27/03/2017 On 27/03/2017 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an amendment to the Social Security (Personal Independence Payment) (Amendment) Regulations 2017: To move to regret that the Social Security (Personal Independence Payment) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 are implemented without adequate scrutiny, and to ask the government to review their impact on people with mental health conditions within two years.
