Rotary Acronyms 96 3 4 Acknowledgment This document outlines the many great achievements enjoyed by the Rotary Club of Emerald & District Inc., in its first 30 years. It also gives a snap shot of the key element of the club – it’s members. Some members stayed for a long time, and some not so long, but all contributed to the well being of the club and it’s many achievements. All brought with them their own distinct personalities and talents. Over the first 30 years of the club, through all of the membership changes, projects and challenges there has been one constant. That constant has being the culture of the Club. Our Club has always been a relaxed, fun place to be, made up of a bunch of great people, who have combined their individual talents, to enable the club to raise in excess of $600,000, and to undertake many worthwhile and successful projects, and to make a difference. The cover of this document, designed by graphic designer Richard Berry, uses the annual photos of the club members as the background – and by doing so captures the very essence of our Club – it’s members.
