......................... 37 1 Introduction The Water Information Tasmania Web Portal (the portal) uses the AQUARIUS WebPortal product to deliver real-time information. It is a browser-based information and data presentation system integrating data collection, data storage, reporting, data computation, data management and real- time information display. If you are new to the portal, please see the Getting Starting guide found by clicking on the information symbol on the Navigation menu at the top of the screen. The Getting Started guide has a series of “How Do I’s” to get you quickly using the portal. This User Manual is intended to allow users to become familiar with features of the portal in more detail. 2 Water Information Tasmania web portal Each time a user opens the Water Information Tasmania web portal in their browser, they will see a Welcome window outlining the terms and conditions under which the data available through the portal can be used will appear. The user must select the “Accept” button acknowledging these terms and conditions before they can proceed to the portal (Figure 1). The map shows circular indicators representing locations where data is recorded. By default in the Water Information Portal, these represent locations where discharge is recorded and the latest values of discharge (in ML/day) are shown in each of the circles. 3 Navigating the portal The main user interface
