Golf Tip I am often approached by golfers who are frustrated by the fact that they put in a fair amount of time practicing where they are satisfied with their results but somewhere between the practice tee and the first tee they lost the ‘magic’. If this is something that troubles you, consider implementing a practice routine that more resembles how the game is actually played. As the saying goes “ Practice like you play. Play like you practice”. In other words, practice in a more random manner never hitting two shots in a row the same. With many of our students here at The Diamond ‘in the Ruff ’ Golf Academy, we have students use what we call “The 27 Shot Challenge”. This is a checklist of shots that the student hits each time they practice and in which they rate their shot making. For many this makes their practice more fun and beneficial.
