
Istria County, Peroj – 2014 Nature and socializing Seven days arrangement PRICE OF THE ARRANGEMENT 667* € – 1 person in a double room 613* € – 2 persons in a double room / per person 521* € – child up to the age of 12 *Group price for 10 – 14 people in a four-star hotel ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival at Peroj, Istria County, in the afternoon. Check in and free time until dinner. Dinner* at the hotel is served between 7 and 9 pm. Free time after dinner. Day 2 After breakfast and morning coffee you leave for Fažana, at about 10 am. After 20 minutes ship transfer you will reach the island Veliki Brijun. There you will enjoy nature, a zoo garden and an atmosphere enjoyed by some of the world’s famous stars and politicians – guests of president Tito. Lunch* will be organized at a local restaurant in Fažana right after we return from the island Veliki Brijun. After lunch you can spend your free time strolling by the sea. At about 6 pm we return to our hotel in Peroj. Before dinner we recommend you go hiking or cycling to Vodnjan where you can walk down the longest street in Istria, or you can discover beauties of the town in your own way. Dinner* is served at the hotel between 7 and 9 pm, and after dinner we suggest you take a stroll or go cycling. Day 3 After breakfast and morning coffee at about 10 pm you are living to towns of Poreč and Rovinj. Poreč is one of Istria’s most beautiful towns and home of the magnificent Euphrasian Basilica (since 1997 acknowledged by UNESCO ). It is a great town to be seen by foot discovering remains of Venetian architecture on many doorways. Be sure to visit the Pentagonal Tower and the Round Tower as well as the small but beautiful Poreč Aquarium in the city centre. Lunch* at a local restaurant in Poreč. After lunch you are leaving for Rovinj, a picturesque town located on a peninsula, meeting point of many artists who opened up their galleries in Grisia street (an opportunity to buy original souvenirs). One of town’s symbols is the batana (old wooden boat) which can be seen in the Batana House museum. Make sure to see The Church of the Holy Trinity which is located on the peak of the peninsula from where you can see the entire archipelago of Rovinj, and on a clear day even Italy. Entrance to the old Rovinj is through the town gate, an interesting remain of the town walls. Dinner* is served at the hotel between 7 and 9 pm, and after dinner we suggest you take a stroll or go cycling. Day 4 After breakfast and morning coffee you are going to see the village of Sv. Petar u Šumi which was named after a Benedictine monastery. From there you leave for Pazin to see the Castle of Pazin (a medieval fortress), hear about the Cave of Pazin and to find out what Jules Verne wrote about Pazin. Brave ones can go for a walk through Kringa, home of the oldest European vampire. 1 Lunch* will be eaten at a local restaurant or tavern in Pazin. After lunch two hours free time and return to Peroj. Until dinner we advise you spend your free time in the Spa within the hotel. Dinner* is served at the hotel between 7 and 9 pm, and after dinner we recommend you take a stroll or go cycling. Day 5 After breakfast and morning coffee at about 10 am you leave to see towns of Motovun and Višnjan. Motovun is famous for its location, architecture and „Motovun Film Festival“, and Višnjan for its world-famous observatory. Lunch* will be organized at a local restaurant in Višnjan. 2 hours free time after lunch and then we return to Buzet. Free time until dinner. Dinner* is served at the hotel between 7 and 9 pm, and after dinner we suggest you take a stroll or go cycling. Day 6 After breakfast and morning coffee you depart for Labin, town of miners. There you will see the Town square, Miners’ federation building, Town palace, Town museum. If you are interested in any of the museums you should get informations about visiting hours as some of them are open for public only during the summer months. Lunch* will be organized at a local restaurant in town. After lunch you are free for one hour and then you leave for Pula. There, accompanied by a tour guide, you will walk around the town for about two hours and see the town centre as well as the world-famous Amphitheatre (or Arena of Pula). Before dinner you have free time to discover Pula some more. Dinner* will be organized at a local restaurant in Pula. After dinner we return to Peroj. Day 7 After breakfast and morning coffee check out from the hotel and gifts for the guests. *food and 1 drink (juice, 1 decilitre wine, home-made brandy, coffee) are included in the price. INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Accommodation in Villa Letan hotel (****) in Peroj, in double rooms with breakfast included (direct telephone line, Internet, SAT TV, mini-bar, safe). Ticket and guided tour of Brijuni National park. Guided tour of Pula. Spa treatment in the wellness centre of the hotel (massage not included) Transportation from and to all of the places included in the arrangement. Indemnity and liability insurance.
