ANCIENT GROOVE MUSIC Thomas Tomkins (1572 - 1656) Fourth Evening Service For SATTB choir and SSATTBB soli, with organ Edited by BEN BYRAM–WIGFIELD www.ancientgroove.co.uk EDITORIAL NOTES Source: Musica Deo Sacra (London: Godbid, 1668). Gloucester Cathedral, GB-GL MS 101: A Cantoris Bass part book, dated 1640. Note values have been preserved and the music displayed at original pitch. Te original clefs are C1, C3, C3, C4, F4. Barring is found only in the Organ book, but it is irregular, that in the interests of clarity, regular barring has been applied. Small notes, accidentals in brackets and dashed slurs are editorial.
