There are over 400 both public and private higher education institutions in the country. Many of them with centuries old tradition but all of them well technically equipped and with outstanding, internationally recognised body of professors on their staff. For a foreign student considering studying in Poland it is very important to know that one does not need to speak Polish language to study in our country as most of universi- ties offer either entire programmes or rich portfolio of cours- es in English. It is possible now to get entire education in English in fields ranging from mining and medicine to music and art. Realising the importance of internationalisation of higher education the Conference of Rectors in Poland together with the „Perspektywy” Education Foundation established a spe- cial programme called „Study in Poland” with the purpose to facilitate international exchange of students and to pro- vide international students with information on higher edu- cation in Poland. Poland is a good country to come and study. It is stable, safe and centrally located in Europe. Polish people are known for their hospitality and friendly attitude to people from other countries. It is also worth noting that Poland is one of least expensive countries of the European Union. We look forward to welcoming you!
