Georgia Southern previously com- peted in the AIAW DII National Championships in four straight years from 1980-83 • The Eagles ended the 2021 season on an 11-match win streak, the longest for Georgia Southern since the 1996 team ended the season on a 12-match win streak • The Sun Belt Conference tournament title is the first conference tournament title for Georgia Southern women’s tennis in a team format. The Eagles previously won the 1995 and 1996 SoCon tournaments in a flighted format • Head Coach Sean McCaffrey is the first conference Coach of the Year for Georgia Southern since Cathy Beene was the SoCon Coach of the Year in 1998 • Georgia Southern started the 2021 season 1-12 against DI opponents in the doubles point. The Eagles finished the season 6-3 in the doubles point, including winning all three doubles points in the 2021 Sun Belt Tournament.
