Maria, a hamlet of Poggio Nativo, and encompasses 15 hectares of olive groves with 1,500 olive trees in the heart of the Sabina PDO area. The cultivars grown are Carboncella, Leccino, and Frantoio. “La Valle” PDO olive oil has remarkable nutritional properties, a golden-yellow colour with hints of green, an unmistakable aroma, and an aromatic, rich and balanced flavour. The olives are harvested manually and pressing takes place on a continuous extraction cycle on the same day of harvesting, a vital step to ensure an olive oil of the utmost quality and with low acidity.
