About Akeeba Backup Akeeba Backup is a complete site backup and site transfer solution for your Joomla!™ powered website. It's intended to provide a single click solution for backing up your entire site - including all files and database contents - inside a compressed archive. You can then restore your entire site from the contents of this archive, without the need of installing Joomla! prior to the restoration. You can do so without the tedious work required to set up and test external utilities, changing your server configuration or having to dive into obscure configuration options.
