(Nana) Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state: (a) whether Pimprala ROB, Dudh Federation ROB, Shivaji Nagar ROB of Jalgaon and Bhadgaon and Ashoda ROB of Kajgaon are included in the list of construction based on cost sharing bans between Centre and States; (b) if so, the action taken thereon so far; and (c) the time by which work on the said ROBs is likely to be completed? NANA PATIL TO BE ANSWERED IN LOK SABHA ON 23.11.2016 REGARDING ROBs IN MAHARASHTRA (a) to (c): Road Over Bridges (ROBs): Pimprala:- Work for construction of ROB in lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No.147 between Shirsoli-Jalgaon station has been sanctioned on cost sharing basis. General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) has been approved and working Drawing is under preparation. Railway makes all effort to complete the Railway portion alongwith approach by State Government. Dudh Federation ROB: Level Crossing (LC) No.148 between Jalgaon-Padali stations do not qualify for its replacement by Road Over Bridge (ROB) on cost sharing basis as traffic density at this level crossing is less than one lakh Train Vehicle Unit (TVU - A number arrived at by multiplying the number of train units and road vehicle units passed in 24 hours). Shivaji Nagar ROB by re-construction of ROB at Jalgaon:- This is under consideration for re-building by Jalgaon Municipal Corporation on deposit term basis. The General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) has been approved by Railway. ROB at Asoda: Work for construction of Road Over Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No.149 Spl. on Igatpuri-Bhusawal section has been sanctioned in Railway Budget 2016-17. ROB at Kajgaon to Bhadgaon: Work for construction of Road Over Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No.126 on Igatpuri-Bhusawal Section has been sanctioned in Railway Budget 2016-17. GAD is under preparation. Funds for Road Safety Works (ROBs/RUBs/Subways/Level Crossings) come from Central Road Funds (CRF) as a percentage of cess collected on Diesel and Petrol by Ministry of Finance. The progress of works is commensurate with the availability of funds. *****.
