We have seen the club unite both in grief for the passing of Lee Scott and in massive hope and opportunity in raising money for little Aurora through the Smiles 4 Miles bike ride to Chinnor. Congratulations to all of you who braved the horrendous conditions last Marcus Cattell Tom Coleman week for such a great cause. For me this is what being part of a ‘club’ is about, it’s about standing strong together and supporting each other on and off the field. I’m extremely proud of the way the squad has reacted to the defeat in Sale, putting in two strong performances. We know if we can Kathy Hills Adam Vine keep this consistency and with the league being so up and down we could quickly climb the table. Only 6 points separates us in 13th and 1st placed Chinnor after 6 rounds, but we know it’s all down to performance. Today we welcome Esher to Silver Leys who will be no doubt buoyant after a fantastic result last week against Cinderford. We had Ben Sheath Danny Johnston two tough encounters last season and I’m sure we can expect the same today.
