WE Fest Karaoke Roundup 2017 Official Terms NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 1. Eligibility The WE Fest Karaoke Roundup 2017 Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia) who are twenty-one (21) years or older at the time of entry, with valid government issued identification. Void in Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law. Employees of Townsquare Media Inc., Miller Brewing Co., and any other WE FEST or Contest sponsor, and any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production execution or distribution of the Contest and their immediate family (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members (people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year) of each such employee are not eligible to compete or win a prize. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes Contestant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. This is an amateur karaoke competition. A Contestant is considered an amateur if he or she is not, or has never been, contracted as a performer with a Record Label or have been a finalist in any prior WE Fest Karaoke competition. By registering as a Contestant, you agree to be bound by these rules in all respects. 2. Sponsor Townsquare Media, Inc., 240 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, CT 06830. 3. Timing The Qualifying period begins on January 28, 2017 and ends on June 30, 2017 (the “Qualifying Period”). Grand Final is held at the Historic Homes Theater in Detroit Lakes, MN on or about July 21-22, 2017. 4. How to Enter: There is one (1) way to enter the Contest, which contains multiple rounds of judging. Qualifying Venue Events (Times, Dates, and Places Vary) The qualifying rounds occur at Qualifying Venue Events. Qualifying Venue Events are located throughout the upper Midwest. Complete list of dates, times and locations are posted on http://WEFest.com/Roundup. Contestants must compete in a karaoke competition judged by qualified in-house venue appointed judges scored in accordance with specified performance criteria. Competitions will be held at Qualifying Venue Events. Contestants who score in the top three (3) spots at a Qualifying Venue Event competition will advance to a Qualifying Venue’s final. Timing and registration subject to individual Qualifying Venue Event rules. Each karaoke competition will ask Contestants to perform one song, of any genre of music, in karaoke style. Use of music subject to copyright restrictions. The top three (3) Contestants with the highest score at the end of that night’s 4013805-1 competition will advance to an in-house final, to compete again for the final top two (2) spots of Qualifying Venue Grand Final representative. Grand Final Competition (Historic Homes Theater in Detroit Lakes, MN) The top two (2) representatives from each Qualifying Venue Event will then compete in the Grand Final karaoke competition, at Historic Homes Theater in Detroit Lakes, MN on or about July 21 and July 22, 2017. Grand Final will be divided into two rounds, the first competition to determine the final top 10 contestants, and a second competition from the final top 10 to find the First, Second, and Third place Grand Prize Winners. Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternative Contestant in the event that a finalist is unable to appear at the Grand Final. Contestants are responsible for all costs, including travel and accommodation, to attend all competition rounds, and must possess valid ID. 5. Winner Selection Contestants will be scored throughout the competition as follows: Out of total of forty (40) possible points, vocal performance (1-26 points); stage presence (1-12 points), and dress (0-2 points). All Contestants that advance to first place at a Qualifying Venue Event will receive a Qualifying Prize. Those who advance from a Qualifying Venue Event Final will advance to the Grand Finale competition. Those who place in the final top three at the Grand Final will win a Grand Prize. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest, and advancement from judges. Scoring selection sheets are not for public viewing and will not be disclosed or released. 6. Winner Notification Each Qualifying Venue Event Winner will receive the prize the night he or she won. Grand Final top three winners will be contacted by the phone number or email address provided with the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules.). Selected Contestant must respond within 48 hours of notification or an alternative potential winner may be selected and notified. 7. Prizes Qualifying Round Prize: The first place contestant from each Qualifying Venue Event qualifying round will receive two (2) 2017 WE Fest General Admission Promo Fee discount access tickets which provide access to WE Fest for $40 per ticket. (Approximate current retail value: $100.00 per ticket). Odds of winning depend on the number of contestants in event and advancement by judges. Grand Prizes: First Place: The Contestant that advances to First Place at the Grand Final will win a performance on the WE Fest Main Stage before the Saturday night headliner on August 5, 2017, $1,500.00, two (2) VIP Green Section tickets, two (2) Campground Access passes, one (1) VIP Vehicle with Electric Campsite, one (1) RV rental from Outdoor Leisure, four (4) General Admission tickets, and one (1) recording session with Taylor Sound with a producer to be scheduled before November 20, 2017. (Approximate current total retail value: $7,370.00). 2 4013805-1 Second Place: The Contestant that advances to Second Place at the Grand Final will win a performance on the WE Fest Main Stage before the Friday night headliner on August 4, 2017, $1,000.00, two (2) VIP Green Section tickets, two (2) Campground Access passes, one (1) VIP Vehicle with Electric Campsite, four (4) General Admission tickets, and one (1) recording session with Taylor Sound with a producer to be scheduled before November 20, 2017. (Approximate current total retail value: $5,120.00). Third Place: The Contestant that advances to Third Place at the Grand Final will win a performance on the WE Fest Main Stage before the Thursday night headliner on August 3, 2017, $500.00, two (2) VIP Green Section tickets, two (2) Campground Access passes, one (1) VIP Vehicle with Electric Campsite, four (4) General Admission tickets, and one (1) recording session with Taylor Sound with a producer to be scheduled before November 20, 2017. (Approximate current total retail value: $4,620.00). No cash equivalent for the prizes, prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The attendance of recording producer is subject his availability and subject to Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason. Transportation, hotel accommodations and/or camping accommodations, luggage fees, and any and all other travel related fees, as well as taxes owed by the winner and his/her guest(s) as a result of the Contest, meals, gratuities, and any and all other personal and/or incidental costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever, are the sole responsibilities of the winner and his/her guest(s). Sponsor reserves the right to withhold and deduct taxes and charges from the prize if and to the extent required by law. In the event winner is unable to utilize the Prize for any reason (including event cancellation), winner will forfeit the prize. 8. POTENTIAL CONTEST WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST. 9. Verification of Potential Winner Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Winners will be notified on-site at each event. The potential winners may be required to sign and return to Sponsor, within five (5) days of the date notice is sent, an affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited) in order to claim his/her prize if applicable. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period (if applicable), or if the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner of a prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. 10. Entry Conditions and Release By entering, each Contestant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Contest; (b) release and hold harmless the Sponsor and each of its respective parents, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, the prize suppliers, and any other
