As this is the Museum’s annual fundraising dinner, we encourage table sponsors of this annual event.” The entertainment for the evening is Broadway’s “South Pacific” star Tony Award nominated Loretta Ables Sayre. Hawaii News Now’s Dan Cooke will emcee. A silent auction will be held for luxury items such as trips and hotel stays, wines, jewelry and art. The event will also recognize the recipients of two special awards: Building Bridges Award Recipient – Honolulu Council Navy League of the United States The award recognizes and honors exceptional individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions towards bringing together the civilian and military communities in order to strengthen and promote mutual understanding of the respective communities’ interests, needs, and initiatives. S.T.E.M. Education Award Recipient – Challenger Center Hawaii This award recognizes and honors exceptional individuals or organizations for their outstanding achievements in educating Hawaii’s youth in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
