Some boats may have to anchor outside of RSYC due to limited berth (N03° 00.000’ E101° 23.307’) 7:00pm BBQ dinner at RSYC Friday 20th November 7:00pm Opening party at RSYC Saturday 21st November 12:00pm ABA boats to congregate at Buoy No. 12 (vicinity of Tanjung Bakau, Port Klang) to witness start of the race 1:00pm After all RMSIR boats have started, ABA boats to head towards Seaview, Pulau Pangkor ABA boat to anchor off Seaview. Berth at Pangkor Marina will be full due to an ongoing event Dinner - Free & Easy Sunday 22nd November Morning Free & Easy 7:00pm Dinner & prize giving at Seaview, Pangkor Monday 23rd November 12:00pm ABA boats to congregate at south of Pulau Pangkor to witness start of the race 1:00pm After all boats have started, ABA boats to head towards Straits Quay Marina, Penang. Berth are limited Dinner - Free & Easy Tuesday 24th November 5:30pm Rickshaw race at Straits Quay Marina Dinner - Free & easy Wednesday 25th November 11:30am Any ABA boats wishes to witness Penang Harbour Race may congregate at north of Tanjung Tokong (racing area as attached in Harbour Race 3 & 4). Race starts at 12:30pm 7:00pm Dinner & prize giving at Khoo Kongsi, Penang. (All participants may need to arrange their own transport to Khoo Kongsi). Thursday 26th November 12:00pm ABA boats to congregate at North of Penang, vicinity of Buoy No. 5. After all boats have started, ABA boats to head towards Royal Langkawi Yacht Club. Passport 2. Last Port Clearance 3. Crew & Passenger List (Form 22 and 25) for boats arriving from Singapore 4. Boat Registration 5. Boat Insurance STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCE FOR VESSEL ARRIVING INTO MALAYSIAN WATERS (CIP) 1. After your arrival at Royal Selangor Yacht Club, you are required to register your vessel, crew(s), arrival time and other relevant information at the Club Office. Club Office operating hours are from 0900 hours - 1700 hours daily. 2. You are then required to register yourself at the Wisma Pelaut (Mariner's Complex) and fill up the arrival form. Distance - Approx. 1km from RSYC 3. After filling up your arrival form at Wisma Pelaut (Mariner's Complex), you are to head down to Harbour City (Jetty Pulau Ketam). Distance - Approx. 750m from RSYC 4. Then proceed to the Immigration at Harbour City itself to have your passport stamped. 5. You are to provide your last port clearance documents and where your vessel is berthed (Royal Selangor Yacht Club) to the Customs at Harbour City. STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCE FOR VESSEL DEPARTING MALAYSIAN WATERS (CIP) 1. Visit the marine department and declare your departure 2. Fill in form MSS2 & port clearance application (2 copies each) 3. Show the port clearance application form and passport to customs for the issuing of port clearance. * All yachts are requested to declare any drugs and firearms. Both of these articles are treated very seriously by the Malaysian Authorities. Unregistered possession can attract death penalty in Malaysia. 4 File : RMSIR_ABA Convoy Version 1.2 – Kevin Yong, RSYC WHAT’S AROUND ROYAL SELANGOR YACHT CLUB 5 File : RMSIR_ABA Convoy Version 1.2 – Kevin Yong, RSYC Marinas & Berthing ROYAL SELANGOR YACHT CLUB Royal Selangor Yacht Club (N03° 00.292’ E101° 23.417’) . Most RMSIR boats will be berthing at RSYC. Berth are allocated under the instructions of berthing master on VHF channel 77 “Regatta Control” . The Regatta Office will be based at RSYC and monitor VHF 77 “Regatta Control” . RSYC will also monitor VHF 72 for normal Club operations. Some boats may have to anchor in the vicinity of North Shore nearby Red Buoy “S.Agas”. Most RMSIR boats will be anchored closeby to shore at Seaview. For boats require ferrying at Seaview, kindly contact “Regatta Control” on VHF channel 77. For boats require diesel, kindly contact Mr. James Khoo of Pangkor Marina in advanced at +6019-512 4088 for him to do the necessary arrangements. Pangkor Marina is on VHF channel 71. 8 File : RMSIR_ABA Convoy Version 1.2 – Kevin Yong, RSYC PANGKOR MARINA ISLAND 9 File : RMSIR_ABA Convoy Version 1.2 – Kevin Yong, RSYC STRAITS QUAY MARINA Straits Quay Marina, Penang (N05° 27.46’ E100° 19.02’) – 23rd November . Most RMSIR boats will be anchored closeby to the entrance at Straits Quay Marina due to shallow entrance depth of 2.0m (at highest tide). Berth are allocated under the instructions of berthing master on VHF channel 77 “Regatta Control”. Berth are fairly limited at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club due to ongoing marina renovation.
