Contributor Nozer Amalsadiwala eam SPY (Salsette Parsi Table Tennis Tournament Youth) began the New Year & the 2nd edition of Twith a bang by conducting Carrom Tournament on the 5th edition of their 11th January, 2015. It sseemedeemed thatthat the entire colony was awake on a cool Sunday morning to witness the intense competition underway across 4 categories in Table Tennis & 3 in Carrom between 50 plus participants from the ages of 7 to 70. The most exciting category was the Random Doubles event in both the sports where partners were decided by draw of lots. It was great to see the bonhomie among the participants, true sportsman spirit, some upsets and the emergence of new talent in some events making this day worth remembering. The winners were awarded medals, apart from cash prizes.
