Dr. Maltby, of Buckden, Huntingdonshire; most sincerely regretted by the officers of his corps, and by all his acquaintances in the colony. His death was occasioned by a fall from his horse, from which he received so severe and injury, as precluded every hope of recovery; but by the efforts of medical skill and the unceasing attention of his friends, his life was protracted for one week, during which time he evinced that fortitude and resignation, which might be expected from the amiable qualities of his mind.
