Feeling drawn to a quiet puppy, Takeru adopts the animal and heads off on his Sherlock Bones: Vol. 3 back home. Along the way he runs into his father who helps his son come up with a name for the new member of the family. Driven by a mysterious voice, Takeru names his new puppy Sherdog English translation. After solving their first 'crime', Sherdog acquires the Wajima family pipe from their living room. With the pipe giving him the ability to speak, Takeru can understand his dog. Sherdog introduces himself as the living legend Sherlock Holmesand believes Takeru to be his partner Dr. Together they solve crimes that come their way and form a bond of trust and partnership. He is a mixed breed puppy with floppy ears and wrinkly feet. Adopted by a teenage boy, he seeks to continue to solve crimes and protect the world from murderers. He frequently forgets he is a dog, and continues to try and act like a normal human despite his physical appearance. Using a pipe kept by his owners family, he can speak to Takeru to solve the mysteries for him. Sherdog continues to learn about the new world he lives in and adapts to the everyday life of being a dog. His entire family is made up of cops and detectives, making his meddling in crime scenes less questionable. After adopting Sherdog, Takeru takes the role as his dog's partner Watson and helps voice out Sherdog's discoveries to uncover the mystery. Takeru is a kind and compassionate young Sherlock Bones: Vol. 3 who makes many connections with people but accidentally gets himself into strange situations. She adores Sherdog and loves to spend time with Takeru. She is also a member of her highschool newspaper staff. When she is in trouble she turns to Takeru for help, showing she treasures him as a good friend. She is known as an attractive woman and is thorough in her line of work. Takeru uses her as a way to get into crime scenes. A big hint to her connection to Irene is when she indirectly serves Sherdog tea that she used to make for him when he was human. He witnesses the naming of Sherdog and loves the puppy when he meets him. He makes important arrests of criminals when called out by Takeru to prevent danger to his son. She accepts Sherdog at first, but comes to loath the puppy after he destroys things and sits in her personal rocking chair. Miki's father is so sure that the ball hit by him was what caused the victim's death. But Sherdog knows that it was the rival golfer that did it. In Case 4, a cram school teacher kills a student. I was so surprised. I had thought that the student would kill the student. In Coffeehouse Time 2, candidate running for student body president are answering questions. The male running gets jealous that he is getting This was a such a great read! The male running gets jealous that he is getting beat so he uses his photography skills to create a scandalous picture. Can Sherdog and Takeru prove that he did it? With each volume, it gets intense to prove who the murderer was to the police. I am so loving these! The golf mystery was so strange and the biggest thing that struck me was it could have been gayer. Also the stress and grief that one Sherlock Bones: Vol. 3 felt when he thought he accidentally killed the victim was great. Like, realistic in an important way. And still fun and rather neat. One about a golf-player who kills a competitor, and another about a teacher who kills one of her students. Then they start one about two students running for president, only for the guy to make a slanderous poster about his female competitor. The characters are all right. Takeru is okay as a hero, but Sherdog is definitely a bit more gullible, or maybe just written to be a little dumber, than I think he should be. I like Sherlock Bones: Vol. 3, or at least I like the possible romance with Miki. The artwork is good, and I like the way they draw the villains, the murderous looks they give are a nice contrast to the rest. My biggest problem is the actual mysteries and detective work. Most of his points are so unnecessary, with clear excuses to be made for them. It made it hard to believe, especially with how fast the suspect gives in.
