annual conference and exhibition 2006 @ final program DAILY SCHEDULE This chronological listing is a comprehensive schedule of all meetings, special events and exhibition events submitted to the Conference Services Office. Meetings and events within this schedule are listed by starting time, and then alphabetically by sponsoring unit. If a meeting is being held by the ALA and no separate unit of the Association, it will be designated as an “ALA” meeting and listed alphabetically within the other units. ALA affiliates are designated “AFL” and listed alphabetically; unofficial groups are designated “UNO” and listed alphabetically. Library school events are designated LS. For changes after May 1, 2006, please refer to the supplement inserted in this book. Onsite changes and cancellations can be submitted to the Conference Services Office, located in the Morial Convention Center, Level 2, La Nouvelle Orleans Ballroom,, and will be pub- lished in Cognotes, the daily show newspaper. Changes MUST be received by 2:00 pm the day before publication in order to be print- ed.
