University of Dhaka awarded Mr Chowdury by “Dean’s Merit List of Honour Award” for Bachelors result and “Dean’s Merit List of Excellence Award” for Master’s re- sult. He worked as “Research Assistant” in Bangladesh Islamic Law Research and Legal Aid Centre. In 2016, Mr. Chowdury achieved Turkish Government Scholarship and right now he is pursuing his 2nd Master’s in Ankara Univer- sity. He has a keen interest in Islamic and Middle Eastern studies, comparative philosophy, Islam & Democracy: Modern Islamic Political Thought, Politics and International Relations, Modernization in the Muslim world. He worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member (Lecturer) in the faculty of law, International Islamic University Chittagong. He is a practicing lawyer of Chittagong Judge Court, an apprentice lawyer of Supreme Court of Bangladesh and a member of Chittagong District Bar Association. ASM Mahmudul Hasan has authored multiple peer-reviewed papers and presented works at many na- tional and International conferences. He was an editor of `Justice’, a student journal and a column writer for `Daily Purbocone’, `Daily Inqilab’, `Protid- dhoni’, ` Monthly DeshJagat’ and others. His major research interest involves Law, Islamic Theology, Human Rights, International Law and Social Sciences.
